Cool car

 

We have best, best friends from another life.  Jason & Kristi.  Kason is named after them.  They were our best friends when we lived in NSL, before any of our kids were born.  They are the kind of friends that are always in your heart.  The kind that even though you don't see each other for months or years at a time, when you get together it's like you've never been apart.  Jason came over in his dad's cool car for a lunch visit with Tige.  I had to snap a picture of them in the car.  They went on a drive, brought lunch and a swig home to me, and had a great visit.  I'll always be grateful for the kind things he said to Tige at this visit.

Sweet Zach

I got a rare treat when Zachie fell asleep on my shoulder.  Had to take a picture of the sweet snuggles!  He's very wiggly, doesn't want to snuggle often, and especially doesn't want to go to sleep anywhere except in his bed.  So when he fell asleep on me around 7:00 p.m., I completely ignored the other kids and their chaos and just held him close.  It will probably be the last time he snuggles me like this.

 

 This month we got the jumperoo out for Zach.  He really likes it, but only for a few minutes at a time.

Kason is 10

We're not quite sure how it happened, but our sweetheart turned 10 years old.  A decade!  Unbelievable.  The only present he wanted was the new Call of Duty game, and the lucky boy got it from his dad! And he got this awesome kit kat cake from me.  We went out to eat for his birthday at his favorite restaurant of all time, Golden Coral.  My kids all love that place--I think it's because of the dessert bar with the 3 chocolate fountains, the cotton candy, and the ice cream cones.  We had to actually made them eat a tiny bit of real food before going straight for the dessert.

 

Happy birthday to our awesome son and best helper.  He's such a good kid.
