Family Photos

We had some family pictures taken at our reunion a few weeks ago. I think they turned out pretty good considering how difficult it is to get a picture of 11 children under the age of 7. The bummer part about it is that it's already out-of-date, since I had a baby just 6 days after this picture was taken . . .

Wow, I'm short! Good thing Andy & Jeff are kneeling or it would look even worse.

Splash Pad

My dad and Tige took the kids to the splash pad this week (while my mom mopped the floor and I napped). This was Abby's first trip to the splash pad since I've been unwilling to take her this summer as I couldn't chase after her with my big pregnant belly. She's fast and I couldn't catch her toward the end of my pregnancy. Anyway, they had a great time wearing themselves out running around.
Kason jumped from rock to rock like a little kangaroo

Looks like pure summer fun to me

Baby Taylor, 13 days old

At his 2 week check-up, he weighed 8 lbs 7 oz. I can already see a double chin and his wrists getting plump. So cute!

Lots of kisses from Kason

and Abby

Grandma has been such a lifesaver this week. She took the kids for 2 days at the beginning of the week, then she brought them back and stayed 4 more days. She cleaned out my fridge, did some needed mending, mopped my floor, fixed all the meals, washed all my bathmats and kitchen mats, cleaned my windows, in addition to caring for the kids and letting me rest. My dad was also here off and on and helped move lots of furniture and assemble a new dresser. I appreciate them both so, so much!

Abby adores Kason SOOOOOO much!
