I wake up Friday morning and got to get Taylor from his crib. He's covered in puke. Lovely. I feed him and change his wet diaper. A few minutes later he has a diarrhea diaper. Tige comes in from the garage and tells me our extra freezer hasn't been working for a few days (the circuit blew), and all our meat and food is ruined. It's just a jolly good day. Puts me over the edge. We can't go with Tige. I'm not taking a baby who is puking and has diarrhea in the car for 6 hours. My cold has rapidly gotten worse. Now I have to unpack everybody's stuff I packed. It's not a good weekend for me.
But Tige has a great weekend--he took his running buddy Cathy and her daughter and they headed over to San Juan County for the race. This was Tige's 2nd marathon, and he finished in 4:18, which was 32 minutes faster than his first marathon in St. George last October. It was good running weather (must better than the 90 degrees here last October), and all 3 of them did great and got nice medals. He has sore legs and is shuffling around. I'm not sure why he does these things. But whatever floats your boat I guess??? He's pretty amazing.

We really missed you! I'm glad everyone is getting better.
I'm sorry your were all so sick. That is definitely not fun. Plus the freezer issue did not help the situation any. :(
Yeah for Tige crappy for you. Sick kids are so not fun..especially when you are sick too and there is no such thing as sick days for mom huh?
