We had such a fun Halloween this year. Kason was an octopus and Abby was a jellyfish. Taylor dressed up in a pumpkin outfit, which didn't go with the "theme", but since he was just in the stroller it didn't matter. Abby was absolutely adorable as she got the hang of what we were doing. She tried to grab a handful of candy and enter people's homes. She rode on Tige's shoulders part of the way and kept chanting "Halloweeeeeeen" in this scary voice over and over. She thought the whole trick-or-treat thing was the greatest thing ever! Sometimes it would take us 2 minutes to get her to stop waving and saying "bye-bye" or "see-ya" so we could move on to the next house. She was so much fun to watch.

Kason (6), Abby (2), and Taylor (4 months).

Miss Jellyfish. An ingenious (and super cheap) costume if you ask me--made with her bike helmet.

Carving our pumpkins. Kason has no fear of the slime anymore and dove right in. He gutted the whole thing himself this year and designed his own jack-o-lantern.

Abby was excited at first...

but was a little unsure once it was open.

But after watching Kason for a minute...

She was ready to help. She even touched it.

Kason's

Abby's

"TJ"s.
We usually do some elaborate jack-o-lanterns made from pattens and Tige often breaks out the drill for precision holes. But this year we just got all 3 cleaned out, and the baby woke up and needed to be fed. So we opted for simpler designs since poor dad always gets stuck with the work. He's a good sport.
