Vegas Vacation

We hopped down to Vegas last Thursday-Saturday for a little family vacation. We weren't there long, but crammed lots of fun things into our 2.5 days. We swam and swam. Kason is a little fish. We went to the Natural History Museum, which Kason was the perfect age for. We also ate one night at the Rainforest Cafe in the MGM. The food was pricey and not very good, but the atmosphere was great, and Kason loved it. He got a "spiderman" balloon animal, which made his day. We saw the movie "Up" which Kason says is his new favorite movie of all time. Tige and I got to watch movies after the kids were in bed. We sure enjoy being together.

Swimming pictures. Kason was very friendly to other vacationers during our multiple swims. He came up to me and said "mom, I said hi to that stranger, but he was nice and he'd never steal me." We had to reinforce stranger danger to our little friendly, social boy.

All things sharks at the Natural History museum. Kason was in heaven. The top, left picture is of bamboo shark eggs/embryos in various stages during their 2 week gestation. They were pretty cool.

More Natural history museum.

Dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.

It sounds like you guys had a sweet-o-saurus time! Thanks for the info on the Rainforest Cafe. We've wanted to check that one out ourselves.

One question, why is Julie naked in the swim pictures?

The rainforest cafe is fun to eat at if you are under 15. Other wise I would rather go and where better food is served. It is kinda pricey. I love the pictures of the kids swimming.

I love the Spiderman balloon! I'm tempted to make a trip just to get one for myself. I wish we lived closer.

Looks like good times. And yes we do need to get down there. I think we are possibly looking at the weekend in July that Brandon gets married. Are you around?
