Tige ran his first 5K last Saturday, even though he'd injured his foot earlier in the week during a practice jog. Saturday morning, he was totally bummed when he got ready and decided his foot hurt too bad to run. Then a few minutes later, he changed his mind and off he went. I guess he just couldn't stand the thought of not running it after all his training and hard work. Anyway, I got the kids ready so we could go see him at the finish, but he ran it more quickly than I thought he would, and we got there as he was getting a drink after finishing. Dang it--Oh well, it's the thought that counts, right? We're very proud of him for all his hard work over the past 11 months at the gym.

Kason awarded Tige his primary singing "medal" after the race. Too bad it was too small to go over his head.

Go Tige! What's next? Abby is just a darling girl! See for me its the other way around. I hope Braxton doesn't grow up liking too many girly things. Good thing Abby is not to fragile.

Tell Tige GREAT JOB! It made me think back to the early morning runs we would take in Santiago. Good times. Tell him I said hi and I'm glad you keep a blog Julie. It's great to "see" your family.
