Last week I posted the differences between my kids at 8 months of age. Just a day or 2 later, Abby finally started sitting unassisted. She's doing good and seems to be enjoying the change of scenery, but after a few minutes over she goes. I had her in the tub yesterday sitting up, but when she loses her balance she's like a slippery little bar of soap.

With a brother like Kason, I'm not sure she'll ever get into girly things. She's destined to love spiders, snakes, lizards, frogs, etc. Yuck, hope not!

Instead of crawling, this is what she does when on her tummy. She arches and lifts her hands and legs up at the same time in a pilates-inspired swan move. Actually, most of the time she really pushes up on her arms, so if she could just figure out how to get her legs under her, she'd be off. Not looking forward to that day--I love her still being fairly stationary.

My cute kids. They love each other. I have to remind Kason 30 times a day that "Abby is fragile! She's like a delicate flower" because he's rough and tumble all the time.
