We've decided our girl only likes blonde women! A couple of week ago, she stayed with my mom for an hour while I got my hair cut. When I go back to my mom's house, she had big tears and red puffy eyes like she'd been crying something fierce. My dad had arrived home about 1 minute before me, and he was holding her. She had stopped crying for him, but I could tell she'd been a stinker. My mom reported she'd bawled the whole hour I was gone, which is so uncharacteristic of Abby. She almost never cries.
Then last Thursday we left her with my sis-in-law while we went to the temple. Char told us she cried almost the whole 2 hours we were gone, except when her BLONDE friend came over for a few minutes. Abby smiled and cooed at the friend, but when she left, back to the crying. Poor Char--I felt terrible. We've left Abby with a babysitter a couple of times and she's done great, but then again, the babysitter is BLONDE! Hmmm. . .

how funny. i guess i better come down and be one of her sitters :)
I babysat a little baby boy when I was in my early tweens/teens. His mom would bring him to our house during the summer and I would take care of him. He didn't like anyone except me. If I had to go somewhere he would cry while I was gone. I think I remember once I had to bring him to piano lessons because he would cry hysterically without me. His mom did have brown hair though.
I think of your mom as blonde! Maybe she should go get some more highlights so that her grandbabies will be happy.
interresting. tell sue to get some hightlights in her hair
Good news for me- I'd love to tend her...
You are welcome to use our blondie (going a little darker these days) anytime! Whit says Abby is a doll and is always so sweet for her.
