Just a few miscellaneous pictures I've taken lately. We haven't had a lot going on the month of January...
Snapped this picture of Abby & Taylor playing. It's funny the things they do together. Taylor always has this excited, happy-about-life look on his face.
Grandma Hazleton came and surprised us with a visit. She read stories to my kids and they just couldn't get enough. Abby especially--she thinks I should read to her around the clock. I always hear "can you read 3 stories to me cuz I'm 3!"
Abby got a monster shiner this week. She and Taylor were running through the kitchen and into the living room, and I warned her to stop running. Then I heard bawling. She slammed into the kitchen cupboard. Possibly the handle? I didn't see it. Anyway, it was a barely noticeable bruise on Monday when it happened, but each day it's looked worse and worse for at least a week.

Sometimes when Tige comes home from work and the house is a mess and I'm still in my pajamas, I know he wonders "what on earth has my wife done all day." He's smart enough not to ever utter such a phrase, but surely he must think it. Here's my answer...I do things like help Kason make a turtle out of hundreds of tiny foam squares, and then I help him find a "home" for said frog, name him, and find stickers for said name.
Ah, the life of a stay-at-home mommy.

I think Abby looks like JaNae in that last pic. So cute.
Poor little cute Abby. So you don't seem to do anything all day. Remember this that a wise visiting teacher told me one day. ((Do you want your kids to remember you , playing in the park, making turtles or mopping floors and cleaning toliets.))) enough said
