You want me to what?
Tige thinks he's going to make a runner out of me. He bought me an ipod for Valentines Day and fixed me all up with work-out music. He also bought me some cushy running socks. There's a Biggest Loser 5k race the end of March at the Biggest Loser resort here in St. George. He's signed the whole family up. We bought a double jogging stroller for the 2 kids. Tige has been dragging me and the kids down to the park, and he pushes the kids in the swings while I run/walk around the park. He's got his Garmin watch set up to beep at me for when to walk and when to run. He doesn't seem to remember that I never was a runner. Even in high school when I was in track and weighed 115 lbs, I still hated distance running. I was a sprinter and hurdler. Now I don't do anything of the sort. He's determined to make me a runner. I'm only going along because it's fun to be with him and have him "coach" me. I'll let you know if I survive the 5k the end of March. To be continued...

You can do it!!! Trust me I have never been a runner and still don't consider myself one, but it can be addicting and lets face it, good for you. I'm excited to see how you do!
p.s. and why are your kids dressed like its winter? You live in St. George!!! LOL!!
That is totally awesome. You can totally do it. I wish I could come down and do it with you. Of course I would need to get a personal trainer to teach me too. Can't wait to hear how it goes.
Your little girl is so cute. Just keep running who knows you may like it.
You can do it!!! When I started about this time last year, I could barely make it to the end of my driveway (1/8 of a mile). I just did a teeny bit at a time, and by mid-July I completed a 5K. Like Shalisa said, I don't really consider myself a runner, either, but it is definitely addicting and that runner's high is hard to beat!
You inspire me. So many people love running and i myself just don't get it! But hey with a personal trainer such as Tige i'm sure you'll find great success! You go girl! And tell me if there's really such a thing as runner's high...
Good luck. I hated running too, but then I found out that women hit their running peak in their 30's sometimes even 40's. Just change out those hurdling/sprinting events for a nice long run. :)
