We went to my parents cabin for Memorial Day with my parents and my brother Clark and his family. It was chilly and rainy, but we still had a great time. The boys went fishing in my dad's new fishing boat at Panguitch Lake. They didn't catch anything, but in asking around, neither did anybody else on the lake this weekend. We read books, magazines, took naps, went for walks, watched movies, and played games. One of those nice, relaxing vacations.
Kason and Clark's kids striking a pose on an afternoon walk. These 3 are so silly together.

A fort the kid's built (with a little help from Clark). They loved it and were outside for hours playing in it and adding sticks.
Wizard time.
Tige's favorite past-time this weekend. He read another whole book and then started this one. If you haven't read it (Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins) you MUST! It's easily one of the best books in the young adult genre, right up there with Twilight and Harry Potter. Tige and I each read it in one day. Sequel coming out this fall.

I wish we had been there with you! What is your dad doing during Wizard? :) It's nice to see Char with a belly again, because a) there's a new baby in there, and b) I was tired of seeing her so skinny! Now she looks like me on a regular day.
That is the kind of vacation that I like. Just doing nothing or what ever you want.
I love the picture of your dad with his headphones on. What does that say about what he thought of you all as company?
Looks like a fun weekend. It rained all Memorial weekend in Cello but we still had fun. I really liked the Hunger Games I cant wait for the next one to come out. I also hated the end.
I didn't know char was preggers! I'm so thrilled for her! Hopefully all will go well. Tell her she needs a blog so we can ooh and ahh over her kids too. David needs one too!
Oh yeah I love the picture of kason in the fort. I think it looks like a beaver damn.
Hunger Games is soooo good. You should read The Compound also. Looks like fun!
