"A" she's adorable, "B" she's so beautiful

Abby is 8 weeks old today. Is that possible? Wow! She's adorable and is just the best baby. This past week she's been sleeping about 7-9 hours straight at night, so I'm one happy mommy. I must thank my cousin Melissa (and Cynthia too) for the tip about the book "Baby Wise" on training your baby to sleep. I did it and it worked. Kason didn't sleep like this until more like 12 or 14 weeks. Anyway, to my blog readers who are pregnant (and there are several of you), I highly recommend the book "Baby Wise" by Gary Ezzo. You won't be sorry. (I got it on e-bay for $3).

Our little sweetie:
Smiles all the time
Coos at us
Adores her big brother
Loves being in the bath, but HATES getting dressed and undressed
Can be quite a spitter after eating. Yuck!
Melts our hearts

I smile everytime I watch this video and listen to myself talk to Abby because on Halloween I was holding and talking to Abby on the couch with my niece, Paige, and she said "why are you talking in that voice?" Now that I can hear it myself, it is a pretty funny (annoying) "baby talk" voice.

I love when you said I came into the room and I found Kason in the crib and Kason said "Sorry" so cute! They look so cute together.

I can't listen to your video at the moment (dumb computer), but I'm positive that my baby voice is obnoxious too. Jeff made fun of me yesterday.

8 weeks has flown by! That dress is so adorable. I tried the Baby Wise and was kind of bored reading it (I think I'm inheriting Jeff's low attention span). Maybe I'll try again with the next babe. Sleeping all night is the best.

P.S. We're going to drop our calendar pages off at your house during Thanksgiving, any tips on where to stick an envelope? Doggy Door?

How adorable! Your kids are so cute. I love the big brother love. It looks like you've got some good things going on in that house. Congrats on the sleep!

Oh my goodness, did I never tell you about Babywise? I am a terrible friend then...so sorry! It saved me with both kids, and now Luke sleeps 12 hours a night, with no whining about going to bed, and Lauren sleeps 12-13 hours, and takes a great nap during the day. It really helped to make the baby stage not so exhausting, and I really think rested kids are happier kids. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving...

I want to back up your comments on BabyWise- I read it too and used it with all my kids and think it works great. That is awesome that Abby is such a professional sleeper. And that you are such a pro mom! She is adorable!
