Kason turned 5 yesterday! I can't believe he's 5. My parents came down on Saturday to watch his soccer game and go to lunch at Kason's favorite restaurant (Red Lobster so he can see the lobsters in the tank and eat shrimp scampi!) Then we came home and ate birthday cake. Kason, of course, wanted a shark cake and I did my best to oblidge. Am I good or what?
My parents gave Kason a set of Kid K'Nex, which he can make underwater creatures with. He absolutely loves them! Here are a few of the animals we've made.

Wow, what a birthday! And what great parents to pull off such events- birthdays are a lot of work for moms huh? Cute pictures, I am very impressed with the cake! I need your street address to send a very belated (but better late then never) gift to little Abby! Email me-I don't have your email address since the death of my computer.
The cake looks pretty good! I'm already trying to figure out a cake for Adam's birthday. Crazy I know.
What a fun birthday party! The kid with the dark hair looks pretty sweaty.
Happy Birthday Kason! We miss you!
Love, Anna and Eliza
Wow! Already growing up so fast. Everytime my kids get older I think of one of my favorite songs, "Don't Blink."
Very cute cake. I'll have to remember that one.
You did a great job on the cake. The party was just the right size big enough to be a party but not too many kids. I love it.
They next time you turn around he will be a deacon and then you will turn around again and he'll be on his mission and then....... Scary uhhhh...
So on enjoy him every minute of the time you have him now. Some day he will have a wife and etc.
What a fun party and an awesome cake! Kason is such a cute kid!
Happy belated birthday Kason! He sure is a big boy. Nice job with the cake.
I can't believe that you already have a family picture! And with coordinating outfits! Very organized and cute.
What a fun birthday. The cake looks awesome. Get that promise "in writing" before you forget!!! Your kids are soooo cute!
