Abby's new Hair

Abby finally has some hair. It only took 3 years to grow it. I can actually put it into short piggy tails or put the sides up into a rubber band. I sometimes curl it with a little curling iron, but the curls only stay in for about 2 hours. And unfortunately, she does not like to have stuff in her hair. We put it into rubberbands with cute flowers or clips, and a few hours later she has taken it all out. (The philosophy that if you put headbands and clips and flowers in a girl's hair as a baby will help her get used to it so she won't mind having her hair done when she's older, wasn't true in this case). Most days she looks like this top picture. Anyway, I decided we needed to cut it short. Here are the before, during & after shots. I think it turned out really cute and she seems to like it too.

I love her hair cut. Easy too. Who needs bows anyway.

And grandpa came home and said, "Why don't you get a cute haircut like Abby..."
