Kirk & Shalisa

Tige's brother, Kirk and his family came to visit us this past week. We went to my parents cabin, and Tige took them all on to Bryce Canyon, while I stayed at the cabin by myself and enjoyed the peace and quiet, (minus the baby kicking me every few seconds and having contractions). Back in St. George, we played lots of games, went swimming, and just enjoyed spending time together.

On Saturday, Tige & Kirk went to Zion National Park to hike it's toughest and most dangerous trail, Angel's Landing. I have been nervous about it all week as I've had visions of Tige falling to his death and me having to give birth to our baby alone. I actually forbid him to go on Friday night, but he wouldn't listen. Anyway, they got up before the crack of dawn so they wouldn't have to hike in the heat, and made quick work up the trail--they were the first ones up that day. They took some great pictures and had a good time. I can't tell you how relieved I was to hear they were on their way back home!

Kason imparted his love for sharks on his cousin, Evie. Kason also loved wrestling with Uncle Kirk almost as much as he loves wrestling with daddy!

Kirk & Shalisa, Evie (in the backpack), and Kason at Bryce Canyon.

Step on Angel's Landing trail with 1,000 foot drop-offs on both sides!

The hike, complete with warning signs that people die on this trail.

View from the top! The little red line is the road, and next to that is a river.

You have a better picture of Evie with the sharks. Would you email it to me? We really had fun thanks for letting us stay. Oh wait, fun except for me only winning two of the many games. I didn't get a good chance to tell you but you did great on your talk. I could tell you were nervous. I hope you went home and all took a good nap.

Contractions! How exciting.
Sorry I'll miss your baby shower tomorrow, hopefully we can come down when she's a newborn and see her.

I've never done Angel's Landing, and probably wont after seeing that step with the steep drop-offs. I hate heights.
