Train Yard

What have we been up to? Well, we always manage to stay busy. Tige took call last weekend in Mesquite, so he had to stay there in a hotel. When I told Kason his dad would be gone, he said "I don't want dad to go to Mosquito!" Too cute.

I spent my morning today making Kason railroad signs for his train yard. He's managed to put all his trains, tracks, and some books, toys, whistles, stuffed animals, cars, and sharks on our coffee table where he's made his "train yard." He said last night, "Mom, I need some signs for my train yard." His wish is my command. They're double-sided signs I made on my computer, and glued to popcicle sticks. Of course, when they wouldn't stand up on their own, I had to think of something creative. So I took toilet paper rolls, cut them up, put paper on the tops and bottoms, and viola! They're standing and he loves them!

You are such a good mom!

Yeah, so Jeff is my partner in Sunbeams... They asked if I wanted to be released in May, and I said yes. Then Jeff told the primary pres. that he would be my partner since there arent very many young people in our ward to call. So, they called him 3 weeks ago. I was not happy. Can you picture Jeff as a Sunbeam teacher?

Awww such a great mommy! The train is so fun. Phoenix loves his trains too. Maybe he'll get a train table to contain the "train yard" (mess).

Nice work on the signs. I bet my boys would love some for their car tracks. My request is a wood sword. I'm still working on it. The things we do for our kids...
