Cabin Fever

A week ago we went to my parents cabin to help them varnish/lacquer the wood, hang lights, etc. The cabin is sooo great--just needs carpet and it's done. I'm planning to spend August there to get out of this heat! It's been 104 in St. George the past couple of days, Yuck! Anyway, we also squeezed in a 4 wheeler ride to the top of the mountain where the view was amazing.

We've been sick all week with colds and flu-like symptoms. Tige doesn't get sick often, but when he does he's really down. This picture was Monday afternoon--he came home from work early with an IV, and he layed around trying to feel better. He threw up a couple of times, but didn't get much sympathy from me since I've also had a bad cold and have been throwing up consistently for 6 months! Plus, he can take the "good" medicine and I can only take wussy stuff. Anyway, we both still have colds but are on the mend now.

There is NOTHING worse in the world than being sick and PREGNANT. I am totally with you on the wussy meds. Why bother? Sorry for all the nasty flu going around. Was the IV already in when he came home or did he put it in himself when he got home? That crazy kid!

That stinks that you were both sick! One of you is bad enough, but both! We are glad you are starting to feel better!

So I am back...Looks like you guys have been busy. I sure hope that you are having a girl. They are lots of fun. Except my six year old is starting to be a little too sassy lately. She's growing up. Anyway, I am so happy to have hooked back up with some of my favorite people. :)
